How long will it take to get my order?

We strive to process orders quickly and most orders are shipped within 12-24 hours of being placed. Under normal circumstances, orders should arrive within 3-7 days (continental US). We ship via USPS, which typically takes 2-5 days for delivery depending on the service selected. Our cutoff time for USPS shipping is 4:45PM (Central). Orders processed and/or delivered to the post office after 5PM will ship the next business day. We may require additional time to process orders during holidays. Additionally, USPS orders shipped during the holidays may be slightly delayed due to high volume, and delivery service dates may not be guaranteed. You can read more about USPS guidelines here: https://www.usps.com/holiday/holiday-shipping-dates.htm

I have other silicone products and they seem fine. Is your silicone really that different?

It is! Our silicone heads are made from 100% pure, medical-grade, High Consistency Silicone Rubber. What's most amazing is what it doesn't contain - fillers. Most, if not all, silicone kitchen utensils are made with Food Grade Silicone. That might sound fine, but Food Grade Silicone often has fillers...like formaldehyde, and other chemicals. If you want to know what the FDA allows in Food-grade Silicone, check out their regulations here. We don't approve. For a healthier kitchen, we recommend the purest silicone available...ours.

My silicone picks up dust. Is that normal?

You might notice that your silicone utensils pick up a bit of lint from your kitchen towel or dust from drawers or counters. That's perfectly normal and a quick rinse in clean water is all that is needed. Pure silicone is slightly tacky to the touch, as it doesn't have additives or fillers to prevent this. We're sure you agree, a little bit of dust is preferable to chemical fillers.

Oops! I accidentally put my wood handle through the dishwasher. What do I do?

We don't recommend putting wood through the dishwasher, as it can cause warping, cracking, and drying. That said, accidents happen. If your wood handles make an inadvertent trip through the dishwasher, and the handle feels rough, you can gently sand it with 600 grit sandpaper. Once smooth, coat the entire handle with oiling wax. This will moisturize, restore, and protect the wood. If your handle is warped or cracked, there is not much that can be done other than ordering a replacement.

What will damage the silicone?

Heat in excess of 800°F, sharp blades, and harsh solvents will all cause damage. While our silicone is very durable, it is not indestructible. Scraping out a soup can, for example, might cut the edge of the silicone blade. Using the utensil in a running blender will likely cause damage. Cleaning the silicone with a harsh cleanser or solvent is not recommended.
